When it's fully built out, the Vancouver Innovation Center will provide space for 5000 new jobs, a new Middle School, a mix of single family, multi-family, and senior living options, and nearly 20 acres of open space (including preservation of 13 acres of urban forest along the 192nd corridor). This is a private development, but the Developer's Agreement the City of Vancouver signs with the developer will shape how the new development integrates with the surrounding neighborhoods and what kind of jobs it will bring in to the community. We need someone on council who understands land use and the way it can spur economic development. That's the voice I will bring to City Council!
